We hope one day to turn the barn into a Training and Education Center. Significant work will be required, including removing the roof, siding and floor, repairing rotted framing members, installing a foundation, and rebuilding the structure in accordance with building code.

Current plans call for a wood-fired furnace, ceiling fans, electric lights and outlets, and the other necessary amenities to support workshops and classes in an insulated structure.

AMC Noble View Education Center

The early 1800's barn will be repurposed to provide classroom, meeting, and social event space enabling a capacity of 70. By conserving the existing barn structure, the AMC Noble View Outdoor Center will be rewarded with a beautiful structure that ensures the continuity of the site history by preserving the existing post and beam wood pegged frame that will remain fully exposed. The construction will add insulation, increase window and door performance, include two lavatories, wood furnace for heating, and create space for a future kitchen along with YOP storage.
